My focus in work life is to improve the profitability of manufacturing businesses through either direct improvements or developing their capabilities to improve themselves. With 25 years as a professional engineer operating in senior roles across a variety of manufacturing sectors I am skilled and experienced at identifying and implementing operational improvement opportunities.

I can engage with your business to deliver operational improvements from simple opportunity analysis through detailed improvement plans to full project management. I engage in an open and transparent manner either, on a quote and deliver, or an on a percentage basis of an agreed calculation and verification of operational benefits.

If you want to seriously upgrade the capability of your staff to continuously improve your business then I can deliver a range of Improvement Apprenticeships. From Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative right up to L5 Improvement Specialist (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).

I can deliver bespoke training on a whole range of manufacturing, maintenance and health and safety topics. I listen to your needs and provide a range of options that we can discuss in order to develop your team in the most appropriate way for your business.

I have over 25 years of experience in engineering and operational management roles across a range of industries. In 2017, I led a team to win the prestigious, national Manufacturing Champions Team Award beating fellow finalists Coca Cola, Glenmorangie and Weetabix.

In 2001 I became a certified Chartered Engineer and I have been a Fellow of the IMechE since 2010. Qualifications include a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and an MBA from Aston University. I also hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Nebosh General Certificate in Health & Safety.
